ABOUT PRAM

PRAM is a community-driven non-profit organization supporting families with young children (ages 0 to 12 years old) living in the Greater Richmond area. Our intent is to create a vibrant, engaged community of healthy, happy, well-informed parents and children. We strive to be inclusive and creative in all that we do.


Indoor Soft Play Meetup!

Sponsored By Rent with Cee, families are invited to come play with the indoor play structures available for rent!


PRAM Music Circle
Ages 0-5
10 a.m. Wednesdays

Circle up with Ms. Amy and enjoy 30 minutes of singing, rhyming, musical instruments, and movement!


Art Class with Natural Pigments and Dyes

Thursdays @10am Nov 14th - Dec 19th (no class on Thanksgiving)

Ages 0-5yrs

$14 per class for PRAM members, $20 for non members


PRAM Community Garden

The PRAM community garden is a volunteer run program, open to all of our neighbors. We have raised beds full of vegetables, flowers, apple and olive trees, and a magical bean tent.

Come grab some veggies and enjoy the space! Everyone is welcome.


Wendy’s Playgroup
Ages 0-5
10:30 a.m. Mondays

Wendy has been a leader in the PRAM community for many years and runs the afterschool homework club. Her playgroups are bilingual and she loves to read stories to the kids in Spanish. Come have a coffee and enjoy some playtime at PRAM with her and some of the beautiful children in her care.

This is free, unstructured playtime, open to anyone.


Barbara & Friends Playgroup
Ages 1-3
10:30 a.m. Wednesdays

A playgroup for 1-3 year olds focused on free play and socialization for children and caregivers. Barbara is a lifelong English teacher who loves to read and talk and encourage people of all ages to develop their individual voices in speaking and writing.

She is originally from San Francisco, but has lived in Mexico, Japan, Arizona, and now in Richmond with her daughter Aiya. She speaks some Spanish, and is very interested in all languages, music, books, art, science, storytelling, animals, plants, eating good food and having fun.

 
 

OUR FIELDHOUSE

PRAM is a hub for a range of activities, from LEGO Stem workshops to after-school tutoring, storytime sessions, playgroups, Parents Night Out, holiday parties, music and art classes, rainy day playtime, and private rentals. For the safety and security of the space, access to the Fieldhouse is granted to any members who host a playgroup, lead a workshop or class, serve on the board, or volunteer.
