ABOUT PRAM
Parents, Resources & More (PRAM) is a community-driven non-profit organization formed in 1998 to support families with young children (ages 0 to 12 years old) living in the Greater Richmond area. Our intent is to create a vibrant, engaged community of healthy, happy, well-informed parents and children. We strive to be inclusive and creative in all that we do.
We are relieved and excited to announce that PRAM reopened in July for classes and Fieldhouse reservations. The Board has come up with some ideas for how to keep everyone safe and happy during this period of transition, and we would love to hear your ideas too!
Bringing the play yard and the fieldhouse back to life will be a community effort - all hands on deck! If you're already a member, or thinking of becoming one, please drop us a line, or just drop by! We can't wait to (re)connect.
Learn & Play
At our playgroups, classes and gatherings we provide opportunities for learning, playing and socializing for PRAM kids and their grown-ups. Is there a type of class you’d like to see at PRAM, or do you have the skills to offer a class of your own? Are you a PRAM member who is interested in starting a playgroup? Holidays are a great excuse for us to gather at PRAM, share food and take lots of silly photos. PRAM hosts events for Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and the Holidays. We even make up our own holiday to celebrate the bounty of the PRAM Garden. We also organize monthly Parents Nights Out.

Raising children in the Bay Area can be challenging. PRAM’s goal is to serve as a space where families can escape the pressures and stresses of our hectic routines and just be with each other, connecting to our incredible community and introducing our children to our neighbors and future playmates.
Membership dues keep the lights on, but parent participation is what makes PRAM so much fun. We want every member of PRAM to feel a sense of ownership over our space and contribute a few watts of energy to help PRAM thrive.

THE PRAM FIELDHOUSE
PRAM's Fieldhouse is a hub for a range of activities, from LEGO Stem workshops to after-school tutoring, storytime sessions, playgroups, Parents Night Out, holiday parties, music and art classes, rainy day playtime, and private rentals. For the safety and security of the space, access to the Fieldhouse is granted to any members who host a playgroup, lead a workshop or class, serve on the board, or volunteer. RENT PRAM
The best-kept secret in town! PRAM's Fieldhouse is available for parties and other events. The Fieldhouse is full of great toys for all ages and is equipped with plenty of folding chairs and tables as well as comfy sofas. There are bathrooms and a small kitchen with sink, microwave, refrigerator and coffee and tea making facilities.
The facility is in a fully enclosed grassy play area with toddler-sized play structures and a vegetable patch and native flower garden. The large expanse of grass is perfect for lawn games. There is easy access to a great public play lot with climbing structures, slides and swings. PRAM is a five minute walk to Historic Downtown Pt. Richmond. Questions? Email pramrentals@gmail.com.
