LEARN & PLAY
At our playgroups, classes and gatherings we provide opportunities for learning, playing and socializing for PRAM kids and their grown-ups. Is there a type of class you’d like to see at PRAM, or do you have the skills to offer a class of your own? Are you a PRAM member who is interested in starting a playgroup? Could you help out at an upcoming event, or would you like to propose one? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas!
Among the most popular PRAM activities, playgroups are typically proposed and organized by PRAM members and arranged by the children’s age. Members in each group consult the PRAM calendar and agree on a time and place to meet with their kids each week.
September: Preschool Adventurers
Parents of Preschool aged children, take note! We are creating a group just for you and your children! We will meet once (maybe twice) a month to take our preschoolers on a local adventure! Adventures will be free or inexpensive and will explore all that our Bay Area has to offer in a manner appropriate for this unique and precious age group!
September’s Adventure will be a hiking trip with a picnic and a trip to Golden State Model Railroad Museum (http://gsmrm.org/).
Pack a picnic for you and your crew and meet us at the large empty parking lot next to the museum (Across from Miller Knox Park). We will begin our hike from there. We will have a sign near the road that says: PRAM Preschool Adventures.
September 22, 10:00-1:00
To RSVP: email Rebecca Mitchell, Programming Coordinator, at email@example.com. Or just show up! We can’t wait to see you there!
Ongoing: Nanny’s Playgroup
Fall Classes, TBA
Past classes include:
Music & Movement
Clay for Kids
Holidays are a great excuse for us to gather at PRAM, share food and take lots of silly photos. PRAM hosts events for Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and the Holidays. We even make up our own holiday to celebrate the bounty of the PRAM Garden. We also organize monthly Parents Nights Out.
FALL SOCIAL EVENTS
October: Parents’ Night Out
We will be offering an evening of free childcare once a month for parents to get away for a date night! This volunteer run program will ensure that you have a reliable date night once a month. Children aged 12 months-12 years are welcome! More details to come, but if you’d like to volunteer to be a caregiver for one of these events, please e-mail Rebecca Mitchell, Programming Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
